Here is my ClubLog Logbook with all QSO’s since 1982. You can request a buro QSL via ClubLog

DX calendar

Name of Resource Where to get What I mainly use it for Remarks
Log4OM https://log4OM.com Logging QSO's, DX cluster viewer, filtered to my log requirements, propagation info, award management, etc, etc… The most important piece of software in your shack - your logbook. It is the first software that I start, when I start the PC. Log4OM automatically shows valuable propagation information for every callsign. I tried many different logging programs. This is my all time favorite and it is free!
DXHeat https://dxheat.com To get an immediate overview of band activites from 6 to 160m DXHeat shows a heat map of currently ongoing QSO's with your continent. It does this by analyzing the cluster spots. It also has a web cluster where you can click on the DX station and listen to it on a WebSDR. If you need to know what is going on on the bands now: Look no further!
DXMaps https://www.dxmaps.com To see detailed information on 6m openings If I see that DXHeat shows activity on 6m I immediately switch to DXMaps to find out if there is activity in HB9 before I turn on 6m. You can do this for 2m as well. There is a lot more there, just have a look!
PSKReporter https://pskreporter.info To create a map of currently received stations on Mount Rigi I think this tool needs no further introduction. Enter my callsign and see what we are receiving on Mount Rigi. We try to have our 3 SDR receivers running 24/7 using band hopping from 10 to 160m
VOACAP https://www.voacap.com To find out which path (long path/short path) as well as time and frequency is best for a certain DX VOACAP gives more detailed information than the propagation tool of Log4OM. It helps to catch that rare DX. It also helps not to waste time. E.g. if there is no way I can get a reasonable signal on 80 and 160 I do not need to waste my time
DX-Propagation https://dr2w.de/dx-propagation To get a comprehensive graphical overview of band conditions This tool shows you the conditions per band and time in a nice world graph. It also has presets for the most important DX-Peditions
HAMAlert https://hamalert.org To get an alert on my phone when a wanted callsign becomes available You can taylor your personal alerts in any way you want. E.g. if any of my needed 30 DXCC's are reported in Europe I get an alarm on my iPhone. I also create taylor made alarms for upcoming DX-peditions (e.g. missing bands and modes)
HAMSpots https://hamspots.net To immediately see who is receiving me HAMSpots does not have the nice graphics of PSKReporter, but it is VERY fast so you can immediately see who is receiving you
DX Summit http://www.dxsummit.fi Web DX-Cluster This is one of the most widely used DX-Clusters. Of course there are many more

A selection of resources that I use to see if propagation is right for rare DX

You are welcome to make use of our 3 WebSDR receivers on Mount Rigi. You may find them a valuable resource to check propagation and especially to check the quality of YOUR transmitted audio!
