The Mount Rigi Remote DX-Station is a HAM Radio dream come true for HB9RYZ and HB9CQK. You can find quite a bit of history (mainly challenges) in the News section, but first and foremost: YOU can use it as well to receive radio signals world-wide and it is 100% free of charge! However, please keep in mind:

The HF receive antenna is disconnected while we are transmitting to protect the receivers. This results in receive interrupts, which is normal.

HF WebSDR based on 7 Airspy Discovery SDR receivers. Operating on 10, 12, 15, 17, 20, 40 and 80m. The antenna is an ALA 1530LN active loop from Wellbrook. Up to 100 users are allowed in concurrently. Be aware that we disconnect the Antenne while we are transmitting at the remote site to protect the receivers. This results in interrupts of your receiving.

Out of order!

HF Kiwi WebSDR. The frequency range is 0 to 30 MHz continuous. The antenna is an ALA 1530LN active loop from Wellbrook. 4 users are allowed concurrently. Be aware that we disconnect the Antenne while we are transmitting at the remote site to protect the receivers. This results in interrupts of your receiving.

2m, 70 cm WebSDR. The antenna is a Diamond X50NA dual band vertical, 8m above ground. Up to 100 users are allowed concurrently. This SDR is not disabled during transmission. However, you get frequent interference from the 70cm HB9ZG repeater which is only 50m from our site.
